Hero Electric bike: Hero Electric AE- 47 .

Hero Electric, India's No.1 Electric bike brand has now come with the new AE-47 at the Auto Expo 2022. This bike has been showcased as a premium product from the homegrown electric manufacturer, although it is not entirely manufactured in India. This bike will be a great competitor to the Revolt RV model.

Design- 

The look of this bike is stunning with a split-seat racing design. The bike has a retro look although. The headlamp glass is fully round. The all-new AE-47 has an LED lamp with two split lights. The panel of this bike is fiber plastic to reduce the weight of the bike, thus it gets better throttle. 

Although the final look of the bike does not come yet, the gap between the frame and body is excessive to expose the wiring. If you park the vehicle there is the risk of cutting wires from others.

It sports inverted telescopic forks and a mono-shock along with the disk breaks at both ends. The design of the swing arm also exudes quality. The muscular fuel-tank-like panel is joined by nearly designed plastic panels underneath, which also form a covering for the battery pack. 

Battery and Motor-   

 A removable 3.5 kWh lithium-ion battery with a weight of 8-9 kg is attached to the bike. This is a nonremovable fix-type battery. The charging port is in the fuel tank-type panel. This bike can deliver a range of 160 km in ECO mode and 85 km in Power mode. In the power mode, the 85 km can archive in 9 seconds. 

Powering this motorcycle with a 6.5 kW hub-mounted motor which can produce 8.7 bhp at the top throttle. 

Cluster panel-    

This motorcycle has a high-feature fancy fully digital instrumental cluster panel along with Bluetooth connectivity and full Led lighting.  The cluster panel has space for a tachometer, battery indicator, and Geo-fencing, and also has a Sim card feature. 

Although it is a TFT screen with no touch sensitivity. 

Features-  

  This bike has alloy wheels along with disc breaks on both ends. The throttle stop switch is just behind the frame to secure the bike from being stolen. This bike has also 220 mm ground clearance and a cushioning seat. This bike can charge with a 5 amp charger, and the full charge will complete within 3-4 hours. 

Pricing and date-  

The Hero Electric AE-47 is expected a price between 1.3 to 1.5 Lakh. The bike is expected to launch on 28th December 2022. Stay tuned for further updates.
