Washing electric scooters means without damaging the battery. In an electric scooter, the battery is everything. Though the battery is water resistant, our heart is no longer ready to believe in it.

You should take some action to wash it. But in a few cases, there are many people out there, who believe that washing means with pressure and shampoo. Everybody loves their new electric scooter And no one wants the scooter color Shine to go out soon or it looks. Here are some guides-

1. Start by preparing the materials you will need for cleaning, including a bucket of warm water, a soft cloth or sponge, a mild detergent, and a microfiber cloth. Make sure that the bucket is not too full, and the water is not too hot to avoid any accidental spills or burns.

2. Before you start cleaning your electric scooter, ensure that the power is turned off. This will prevent any water from coming into contact with electrical components that could cause a short circuit or damage the battery.

3. Begin by removing any loose dirt or debris from the electric scooter. You can use a soft brush or a dry cloth to wipe off any mud, dust, or grime.

4. After removing the loose dirt, wet the soft cloth or sponge in the bucket of warm water and apply a small amount of mild detergent to it. Gently wipe the body of the electric scooter with a damp cloth or sponge, making sure that you don’t apply too much pressure or scrub too hard, as this can cause scratches.

5. The wheels of the electric scooter tend to accumulate dirt and debris, which can affect their performance. To clean the wheels, use a separate cloth or sponge and apply some detergent. Gently wipe the wheels and rims, making sure that you clean the spaces between the spokes.

6. Once you have washed the body and wheels of the electric scooter, rinse it off with clean water. Use a hose(do not use a pressure hose) or a bucket of water to rinse off all the soap and detergent thoroughly.

7. After rinsing, use a microfiber cloth to dry the electric scooter. Make sure that you dry all the parts, including the seat, handles, and footrests. Be careful not to leave any water on the electric scooter, as this can cause rusting or damage to the electrical components.

8. Once the electric scooter is completely dry, you can polish it to give it a shiny finish. You can use a silicone-based spray to polish the body and wheels of the electric scooter. Make sure you spray the polish on a clean, dry cloth and then wipe it onto the surface of the electric scooter.

9. After polishing, do a final check to ensure the electric scooter is completely dry and free of any soap or detergent residue. Turn on the power and check that all the electrical components are functioning correctly.

I will strictly recommend you not use a pressure hose. It will damage the speaker and other things. It will be better to wash your scooter in the service center. In a normal washing center, they are not trained to wash the scooter properly.
