Four-Wheeler Vehicle Driving Operation And Requirements.

Driving is the method of controlling the vehicle on the roads. Driving is the best habit that helps to minimize the timing of the distance. In this article, I will discuss the details of the four-wheeler vehicle driving operation and requirements.

Four-Wheeler Vehicle Driving Instruction

Driving is an art. Driving is a smooth, silent art. You can accelerate or deaccelerate very fast but all movements of the car should be fluid and not jerky. Unavoidable sounds are-

  1. A healthy purr of the engine.
  2. The hum of the spinning road wheels.
  3. The sound of wind rushing by.

You can measure yourself by noticing how smooth and silent your driving is; tense or relaxed passengers are another clear indication. Driving like all arts should be imbibed leisurely. Instant coffee is convenient, but crash driving courses could be disastrous To dig a hole in the ground, all you need is sound physical health.

To learn a science you need brains as well. To master an art, your heart should also be involved. Car sympathy is an important factor in the make-up of a good driver.

Collisions do not happen; they are caused. The choice of the word collision is deliberate. The term accident is misleading. It is not defined in law. It wrongly and smugly implies chance. luck, unavoidably, and above all that no one wall responsible and hence does nothing to discourage involvement.

Every collision is due to some deficiency in the driver. Anyone can drive and drive fast but it takes an expert to drive fast safely. There is no danger in speed. Danger lurks in the person using it. One out of a thousand collisions may be an accident in its true sense. But to call every collision an accident is to delude ourselves. The word collision on the other hand is more accurate and realistic, gives no false sense of guiltlessness, and discourages involvement.

We cannot build roads or cars in such a way as to avoid collisions, no matter how those cars are driven on those roads. But we can learn to avoid collisions due not only to driver failure but also to the defects in the roads and cars. If you agree, you can now plunge into the chapter to find out how it is done.

Four-Wheeler Vehicle Driving Operation

As soon as the driver turns on the starter switch, it releases electric current from a battery and sets into action an electrical starting motor which turns a flywheel connected to the engine crankshaft. Immediately the driver steps on a pedal which controls the rate of flow of air-fuel mixture into the inlet manifold.

During the outwards stroke of the piston, this mixture is sucked into the cylinder. During the inward stroke, this mixture is compressed and an electrical spark by a plug sets fire to it. The resulting explosions put high pressure on the piston which again moves outwards to the crankshaft.

Lastly, during the final stroke, the burnt gases leave the cylinder. As the process is repeated over and over again, the crankshaft is turned continuously – and the engine is running. The motion of the crankshaft is transmitted to the rear wheel through the clutch, gearbox, and differential.

Through the mechanism of the clutch, the crankshaft is connected to a set of gears. Through the gearshift lever, the gears of the transmission can be shifted to suit driving conditions for changing the speed. The motion from the gearbox to the differential is transmitted through a propeller shaft.

The differential is arranged in the rear axle to permit one rear wheel to turn faster than the other while turning a corner. The rear wheels are directly connected to the gear axle and get motion as the rear axle turns, and the vehicle is in motion.

The motor vehicle, rolling on the road, is directly by a steering gear which controls the direction in which the front wheels are pointed. The braking system is provided to stop the vehicle or slow it down as required by the driver.

The unevenness of the road surfaces and the jerks are partially controlled by the front and the rear springs, by shock absorbers, by padding and springs in the car seats, by chassis cross members which decrease sideways, and by the distribution of chassis and body weight as between the front and rear wheels.

Basic Requirements to Drive

You need the following to begin learning to drive.

  1. A car not too old.
  2. “L” plates in front and rear.
  3. A driving range or open field.
  4. Learner’s license.
  5. Licensed driver by your side. Additional “L” signs on the rear and off sides of the car will add to security while practicing traffic driving.

It is assumed that vision is good and you have a suitable I.Q. people with very low or high I.Q. are prone to collisions. The ideal range lies between 90 and 120. Driving also involves simultaneous and independent, precision movements by both arms and legs in different directions.

It is wise to forget driving if you lack aptitude. You can find this out for yourself during the first two weeks of training. Acquiring knowledge and learning the skill are not enough. You should develop the correct attitudes by practicing them, right from the beginning.

At least while learning, use shoes and avoid chappals. But you have started barefooted you can not drive later in a very cold climate with or without shoes.

Conclusion

Finally, it should be noted that engine tuning has several benefits, such as increased power, better fuel economy, improved throttle response, performance customization, extended engine longevity, diagnostic capabilities, flexibility to changes, and legal compliance. To optimize the advantages while preserving the vehicle’s dependability and legality, tuning must be done carefully and by experts utilizing respectable techniques.
