Engine and Power

The all-new Honda SP-160 is powered by a 159 cc air-cooled engine. This engine has a balanced power and refinement that makes the bike perfect for everyone. The initial torque of the bike is good enough, and this bike can reach 0-30 km in just a single gear. This bike produces a maximum output of 13.2 bhp and a peak torque of 14.59 nm. This bike has a five-speed gearbox sleeper clutch system.

The all-new Honda SP-160 is powered by an E20 fuel system. This makes the bike environment friendly.

Suspension

The new Honda SP-160 has two telescopic suspensions in the front and one mono-shock absorber in the rear. The suspension combination makes the bike lightweight and balanced as they also capable of absorbing the road shock and will provide the rider comfort.

Braking

This bike comes in two different variants, one is single disc in front and drum brake in rear, and the other one is two discs in both rear and front section. In both segments this bike provides ABS. The brake bite is really good and the stopping distance when applying the brake is good.

The new Honda SP-160 has a 276 mm front and 220 mm rear disc in the dual disc variant and a 130 mm rear drum brake in the single disc variant.

Tires

The new Honda SP-160 has a sporty tire. It has an 80/100 -17 at the front and 130/70 -17 at the rear. This tires a really good bite on the road.

This bike has an LED headlight setup with the best-in-class rear light design. The indicators in this bike are halogen. This bike has a 12 L fuel tank capacity and a tank grill that makes the bike look sporty. The height of the bike near about  177mm and the seat height is 796mm high.

The digital cluster panel looks premium and it has the gear indicator, odometer and trip meter readings, mileage, speed, and time. In the down part of the engine, it has an engine crowl like Pulsar P-150.

Pricing

The Honda SP160 comes in two variants:

  1. Single disc priced at Rs 1,17,500(EX-Showroom Delhi).
  2. Double discs are priced at Rs 1,21,900(EX-Showroom Delhi).

New Honda SP-160 Rivals

As I have said earlier, This bike has its rival- the Honda Unicorn which has 7000 less price than the single disc variant. The other rivals are the Bajaj Pulsar P150, Yamaha FZ-S FI V4, and the TVS Apache RTR 160.
