The engine is now made to support Ethanol fuel, and the blend can support up to 20%. The engine has a 6-speed gearbox with multi-plate wet clutch system. The motorcycle can achieve a top speed of 135 kmph and it takes 15 seconds to achieve 0-100 kmph speed. Yamaha XSR155 has a mileage of 40 kmpl.
